Plot twist: United will go for Frenkie de Jong after Casemiro

Although it had been reported in the English press that Manchester United would stop trying to sign Frenkie de Jong after signing Casemiro from Real Madrid, the 'Mirror' reports otherwise. There was a meeting between the board and Erik ten Hag in which a further effort for the Dutchman was approved. The signing of Casemiro is not going to make United forget about  Frenkie de Jong. After 'The Athletic' initially assumed that the Brazilian had pushed the Dutchman off the Red Devils' list of priorities, the 'Mirror' reports that the Old Trafford board  have approved a new effort for the Barcelona player. According to the British newspaper,  the  United  board held a summit meeting with Erik ten Hag  and gave the green light to two new signings in the short remaining transfer window.  One of them should be the 'Cule' , who still thinks that the best thing for him  is to continue at Barcelona this season. >>> Check the Premier League Standing A
