Premier League Round 6 Season 2022/23

The EPL 2022/23 Round 6 will start this weekend after Round 5 in the middle. Somehow there have already been four rounds of games played so far this season, which is sure to zip by as a result of the squeezed calendar accounting for the winter World Cup.

In the Round 5, let's take some overview with 2SportTV:


This is Chelsea's second defeat in the Premier League this season, and also the second consecutive defeat away, after a 0-3 defeat at Leeds on August 21.

Defeat at St. Mary's caused Chelsea to be surpassed by Southampton itself and dropped to eighth with 5 points. In the next round, "The Blues" returned home to Stamford Bridge to play a derby with West Ham - the new team won three points after four matches.

Plot twist: United will go for Frenkie de Jong after Casemiro

Although it had been reported in the English press that Manchester United would stop trying to sign Frenkie de Jong after signing Casemiro from Real Madrid, the 'Mirror' reports otherwise. There was a meeting between the board and Erik ten Hag in which a further effort for the Dutchman was approved. The signing of Casemiro is not going to make United forget about  Frenkie de Jong. After 'The Athletic' initially assumed that the Brazilian had pushed the Dutchman off the Red Devils' list of priorities, the 'Mirror' reports that the Old Trafford board  have approved a new effort for the Barcelona player.
